The Eissmann Automotive Germany GmbH is a German family with headquarters in Bad Urach . Eissmann is represented outside Germany at locations in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Mexico, the USA and China and in 2018 employed around 5000 people.

history

The company was founded by Helmut Eißmann and his sons Volkhard and Jürgen in 1964. Products for cars such as wheel covers for the VW Beetle were made. Leather processing at Eissmann began with the introduction of leather shift handles in the product range.
