The Eitelsbacher road is the main road in the Trier district Eitelsbach , after whom it is named. The street turns directly into the street “Auf Schwarzfeld” in the direction of Ruwer.
history
The place name Eitelsbach, documented since 1238, is derived from the stream of the same name (previously also: Isolsbach ). Before Eitelsbach was incorporated, the street was called "Hauptstraße".
Various historical cultural monuments from the 19th century are located along the road , including above all wineries and former farmhouses. The Catholic branch church Vierzehn Nothelfer is located on the adjacent Mertersdorfer Straße . In the wider area of Eitelsbach there are also many wineries, including the Karthäuserhof winery or the Duisburger Hof .
