The Ekosem-Agrar AG , Walldorf, is the German holding company of Ekoniva Group, one of Russia's largest agricultural companies.

With a current population of around 138,000 cattle (including around 66,000 dairy cows) and a milk volume of around 483,000 tonnes in 2018, the company is the largest raw milk producer in the country and in Europe. The group has an agricultural area of ​​around 405,000 hectares. In order to deepen the value chain, the group is gradually expanding its own milk processing facility with the aim of becoming Russia's leading fully integrated manufacturer of dairy products. Further areas of production are arable farming, suckler cow husbandry and organic farming, and seed production and breeding. The company is one of Russia's leading seed producers. The company's founder is Stefan Dürr, who has been active in Russian agriculture since the late 1980s and has played a decisive role in its modernization over the past two decades. In 2009 he was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for his services to the German-Russian agricultural policy dialogue. The group of companies is represented in seven regions in Russia with around 10,000 employees. Ekosem-Agrar achieved an operating performance of EUR 246 million and an adjusted EBITDA of EUR 69.5 million in the 2017 financial year.
