El Pilar de la Mola is a place on the Spanish Balearic island of Formentera . In 2011, 167 residents lived in the center and a further 618 were scattered around the area. El Pilar is located on the limestone plateau La Mola, which forms a peninsula in the east of Formentera.

- The lighthouse Far de la Mola, two kilometers away on the sea coast, was built in 1860–1861 by the Spanish engineer and builder Emili Pou y Bonet . A memorial stone was later erected in honor of Jules Verne , in whose novel Hektor Sarvadac's journey through the world of the sun the lighthouse plays a role.
