El Porvenir ( Spanish Isla El Porvenir ) is a small flat island of Panama in the west of the San Blas Islands in the Caribbean Sea .
On the island is the only place of the same name, El Porvenir , capital of the Panamanian comarca Guna Yala .
El Porvenir has a 600 m long runway at El Porvenir Airport ( IATA : PVE, ICAO : MPVR), and a small tourist infrastructure.
