Tim Hasbargen (born March 5, 1996 in Munich ) is a German basketball player .

career

Hasbargen comes from the youth of FC Bayern Munich . For FCB he played in the second men's team in the regional league until 2014. From 2014 to 2017 he studied and played at Cleveland State University (US state Ohio ), but remained a supplementary player. In three years he came to a total of 41 missions for the university team of the first NCAA division and posted an average of 1.7 points per encounter. He spent his last year in the United States on the state of Massachusetts situated Babson College  (third NCAA Division). In 15 season appearances in the 2017/18 season, the Munich-based player started seven times and scored 6.1 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.

In July 2018, Hasbargen was signed by the Ehingen / Urspring syndicate ( 2nd Bundesliga ProA ). In his first year as a professional he scored an average of 9.8 points per use for Ehingen. In summer 2020 he made the leap into the basketball league when he was signed by SC Rasta Vechta  .

National team

In spring 2014 he played for Germany at the Albert Schweitzer tournament , in the summer of the same year he won the gold medal with the German U18 national team at the B-European championships in Bulgaria . In 2019 he was appointed to the A2 national team and achieved fifth place at the Summer Universiade in Naples in July 2019 .
