Electronic (band)
Electronic was a British group that formed in the post-punk era in the late 1980s . It was founded by Bernard Sumner and Johnny Marr . In the course of her work, well-known musicians came to work for individual songs, including Neil Tennant from the Pet Shop Boys for Getting Away with It and Disappointed or Karl Bartos , ex-member of Kraftwerk .
Career
Her first single almost reached the top 10 at number 12 in Great Britain and made it to the top 40 in the USA and Australia. Her debut album came in at number 2 in Great Britain and was sold more than a million times worldwide. However, their biggest hit was Disappointed , which reached number 6 in the UK.
In 1998, Bernard Sumner left Electronic for a short time, as his old band New Order reunited for the Reading Festival. After this excursion, Bernard Sumner returned to Electronic and was involved in the recording of the third album Twisted Tenderness .
