Electrical engineering automation (own spelling: electrical engineering AUTOMATION) is a specialist medium in automation technology for the manufacturing and process industries as well as for building automation and mobile automation.

The magazine was founded in autumn 1918. Elektrotechnik Automatisierung appears 9 times a year with a circulation of 20,241 copies in Vogel Communications Group GmbH & Co. KG. In addition, special editions are published. The magazine has editorial offices in Munich and Würzburg.
