Elena Petrošienė

Elena Petrošienė (born January 3, 1967 in Kretinga ) is a Lithuanian agronomist and conservative politician , member of the Seimas (1996-2000).

Life

After graduating from the Kretinga Middle School, she graduated from the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija with a diploma in agronomy and, in 2000, studied politics at the Vilniaus universitetas . From 1990 to 1994 she worked as a research assistant at the Lithuanian Agricultural Institute. From 1995 to 1996 she was a member of the council and deputy mayor of the district of Kretinga . From 1996 to 2000 she was a member of the Seimas . In 2001 she worked at the Nacionalinė mokėjimo agentūra at the Ministry of Agriculture of Lithuania .

She is a member of Tėvynės Sąjunga .

She is married. With her husband Petras she has a son Tomas.
