Elenco ufficiale delle aree protette
The Elenco ufficiale delle aree protette ( EUAP ; German Official Register of Protected Areas ) is a directory of all the conservation of standing areas and landscape sections in Italy . The list is updated periodically by the Italian Ministry of the Environment, Landscape and Marine Protection ( Ministero dell'Ambiente e della Tutela del Territorio e del Mare ) and includes officially recognized protected areas on land as well as protected sea or sea sections.
The current, sixth edition of the directory was adopted on April 27, 2010 and published in the Official Journal No. 115 on May 31, 2010 .
criteria
Protected areas are included in the EUAP in accordance with the criteria set by the National Committee for Nature Conservation Areas on December 1, 1993 :
- Existence of a formal permit - this can be state or regional laws, permits from public institutions or contracts between the owner of the site and an operator
- Existence of a mapped boundary definition of the area
- Recognition of the special landscape value of the area
- Compliance with protection regulations 394/91 (e.g. the hunting ban in the protected area)
- Existence of a guaranteed operator organization
- Existence of secure financing
