Eleni Zaroulia

Eleni Zaroulia ( Greek Ελένη Ζαρούλια * 1961 in Athens ) is a member of the Greek National Socialist party Golden Dawn , and was for the Greek general election in May 2012 bis 2019 Member of the Greek Parliament .

Life

She is married to the party chairman of the Chrysi Avgi, Nikolaos Michaloliakos , and has one daughter.

In October 2013, Zaroulia spat at a journalist on camera who had questions about her arrested husband.

politics

Zaroulia was a member of the Council of Europe 's Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination . In a session of the Greek parliament , she called immigrants " subhumans " who would transmit all kinds of diseases. In January 2013, several members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe protested against this . In March 2014, Zaroulia's parliamentary immunity was lifted.
