Elias II (Jerusalem)
Elias II (* in the 8th century; † 797 ) was the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Jerusalem from 770 to 797.
In the early nineties of the 8th century an opponent arose in the monk Theodoros Spudaios , who was supported by the Islamic rulers. Elias then probably lived in exile in Persia until his death .
