Elicura Chihuailaf Nahuelpán (* 1952 in Quechurehue , Chile) is a Chilean poet, storyteller, storyteller, essayist and member of the Chilean Language Academy. He is one of the most renowned poets from the Mapuche people .

His work, written and read in the language of his ancestors, the Mapundung and in Spanish, has been translated into Italian, Swedish, English, French, German, Catalan and other languages.
