Eliezer ben Nathan from Mainz
Elieser ben Nathan from Mainz (around 1100 to 1150 ) was a halachist and liturgical poet .
His best-known work is ha-eser (“Stone of Help”), a ritual work and at the same time a first-rate cultural and literary historical source.
Eliezer is also considered to be the author of a report on the persecution of the Jews in 1096, written in Hebrew before 1146.
