The heroine Elif Abaci died years ago as a result of working in a Hamburg asbestos factory. Her three husbands are shown: husband Veysel, her son Kazim and her grandson Feryat. The three show the history of Turkish migration to Germany . Kazim Abaci finally becomes a member of the Hamburg parliament .
