Elisabeth Lukas

Elisabeth Lukas (born November 12, 1942 in Vienna ) is an Austrian psychotherapist and clinical psychologist . She is one of the most famous successors of Viktor Frankl , the founder of logotherapy , meaning-centered psychotherapy.

Until 2003 she headed the South German Institute for Logotherapy in Fürstenfeldbruck .

Her more than 30 books have been published in 16 languages.

In 2001 Elisabeth Lukas received the Viktor Frankl Prize of the City of Vienna.

In May 2014 Elisabeth Lukas was awarded the honorary professorship of the Moscow University Institute for Psychoanalysis as part of the 2nd World Congress of the Viktor Frankl Institute for Logotherapy and Existential Analysis in Vienna.
