Ellen Brandsma

Ellen Brandsma (* 1968 ) is a Swiss presenter and a former international photo model who can still be seen today as the "Best Age Model" on advertising material and in catalogs. She currently moderates the health program of the regional broadcasters Tele Tell and Tele M1 , sporadically also galas and other events.

Life

Brandsma completed basic Shiatsu training in Tokyo after attending a Dutch art academy . She has worked internationally as a photo model for many years. Then she moderated the real estate program of a Basel TV station, in whose editorial she also worked. She also worked for Tele Basel's “spotlight”.

She became known throughout Switzerland through her participation in the casting show "g & g sucht" on the national television channel SF 1 . The aim of the program was to look for an additional moderator from among 26 candidates for the existing format “Glanz & Gloria”. The participants had to pass journalistic tasks. Ellen Brandsma was second to last and thus reached third place. The winner was Annina Frey ahead of Christian Franzoso .

For 5 years she worked as a news and health presenter for the private broadcasters TeleM1 and Tele Tell. In Swiss advertising, Brandsma could be seen, among other things, on advertisements for clothes, and on the poster advertising of the Raiffeisenbank . As part of her self-made contribution to a Christmas campaign by her station, she offered short massages in a department store for the symbolic amount of 5 francs for a good cause to relieve customers from the Christmas stress. In November 2012 she opened her own company Dutch Living in Aarau. In addition to trading in vintage furniture from Holland, she works as an interior stylist for private and business premises. Ellen Brandsma offers homestaging for real estate sales.

Ellen Brandsma lives with her family in the canton of Aargau.
