Ellen Thümmler

Ellen Thümmler (* 1981 ) is a German political scientist .

She studied political science, sociology and education and received her doctorate in 2010 with a study on the Catholic intellectual Waldemar Gurian at the Technical University of Chemnitz . From 2008 to 2018 she was a research assistant in teaching and research at the Chair of Political Theory and History of Ideas of Alexander Gallus . Since then she has been a research associate in the research project “The context-oriented intellectual history as a bridge between the history of time and the history of ideas”.
