The Elmer Iseler Singers are a professional choir from Toronto ( Canada ), which was founded in 1979 by Elmer Iseler.

The choir consists of twenty singers and is led by Lydia Adams. He has gained his international reputation through numerous appearances in concerts and festivals as well as through radio and television broadcasts. His repertoire consists of choral music spanning five centuries. He regularly performs works by contemporary composers (e.g. Peter-Anthony Togni ) and works closely with them.

The singers are very much appreciated for their participation in workshops and master classes. From 1997 to 2007, EIS was the choir-in-residence of the music faculty at the University of Toronto . The choir can look back on intensive studio activity with over fifty recordings, which are considered by many choirs and conductors as a guideline for their repertoire. With its educational concept Get Music , which was launched in 2007, the choir supports schools and choirs in musical training in symposia and workshops.
