Els van Breda Vriesman

Els van Breda Vriesman (born March 18, 1941 ) is a Dutch lawyer and sports official. From 2001 to November 2008 she was chairman of the World Hockey Federation (FIH) and in this capacity also a member of the International Olympic Committee .

Van Breda Vriesman has been a sports official since 1982. From 1982 to 1994 she was Vice President of the Dutch Hockey Federation ( KNHB ). Upon leaving her office, she was made an honorary member. She was also a member of the governing body of the Dutch NOK from 1989 to 1993 .
