Parents Association

As a parents' association in Germany organized or informal association of parents is called. In contrast to parent representatives , parent associations were created on their own initiative or from advisory boards or similar bodies. These parents' associations can be short initiatives, but also, as a registered association, support a school or support a pedagogical institution such as a kindergarten over a longer period of time . A parents 'association is often the umbrella organization of several parents' associations.

In Austria , the parents 'council is called the parents' association .
