Elvira Ríos
Elvira Ríos (born November 16, 1914 in Mexico City , † January 13, 1987 in Mexico City) was a Mexican actress .
In the 1930s and 1940s she acted in eight feature films. including mainly Mexican productions. Among other things, she appeared in the American western classic Stagecoach ( Ringo / Hell's trip to Santa Fe ) by John Ford in 1939 . There she played Yakima , the Apache- born wife of the stagecoach station owner Chris . In the German film version, however, her dialogue scenes were cut out, which is why the film character and actress are little known in German-speaking countries.
