The "Emåns Ekomuseum" is a museum housed in a historic water mill in Bodafors in the Swedish municipality of Nässjö .

The museum deals with the Emån river , its ecology and history. The Emån flows directly through the museum grounds and drives the mill's water wheel. The history of the mill goes back to the 16th century. In the entrance area of the mill house there is a water-flowing sculpture that was created in a seminar led by the English sculptor John Wilkes .

Further topics are the history of local furniture production. The grounds of the mill were used for furniture production for a long time, so from 1872 the so-called Windsor chairs were very successfully produced and at times more than 300 workers were employed. A furniture historical archive is housed in one building, and an old forge in another . There are exhibitions on other topics. There is a coffee bar at the reception building. The central area of the museum grounds is taken up by a water playground .

A four-kilometer-long nature trail begins at the museum grounds and leads to Lake Uppsjön on the banks of Emån and through twelve different biotopes. There is a bird watch tower by the lake.
