Emak is an Italian mechanical engineering company that was created in 1992 from the merger of Efco and Oleo-Mac (chainsaw), both from the province of Emilia-Romagna . Production sites are in Italy, the USA, Brazil, Chile, South Africa and China with various suppliers from Europe and Asia. The head office is in Bagnolo in Piano .
history
Emak was founded in 1992 from the merger of Oleo-Mac and Efco. The saws came in 1972, founded the Oleo-Mac that Ariello Bartoli brushcutters Efco, which was founded in 1978 by Giacomo Ferretti.
Products
Emak develops and sells machines under various brands - mainly chainsaws, string mowers and lawnmowers - under the brand names Oleo-Mac (orange) and Efco (red). The range also includes hedge trimmers, backpack sprayers, blowers, high-pressure cleaners and garden tractors.
In the past, chainsaws were manufactured for the brands John Deere, Cub Cadet, Olympyk / Olympic / Olympik, Alpina, Nauder, Nautic, VAP, Castor and Bullcraft.
Two-wheel tractors, bar mowers, cultivators, flail mowers and motor transporters are manufactured under the brands Bertolini (color blue) and Nibbi (color red).
