Emil Gesche
Emil Gesche (born August 1, 1871 in Pyritz, Pomerania; † June 1, 1966 in Funchal , Madeira ) was a German businessman.
In 1910 Gesche took over the post of German honorary consul in Madeira from his father-in-law Georg Friedrich Sattler until the beginning of the First World War. Then he also represented Austria on the island until November 1923. He remained in the office of German honorary consul until his death. His daughter Elisabeth followed him .
