Emil Homburger

Emil Homburger ( April 11, 1922 - November 9, 2009 ) was a German football player.

Career

Emil Homburger played in the zone league south from 1948 to 1950 , in the 1950/51 season in the Oberliga Süd and from 1951 to 1956 in the II. League south at FC Singen 04 . Then he moved back to his home club SV Hilzingen, where he also worked as a coach. Homburger played in the positions of the right or left defender. In the league season 1950/51 he had 32 missions.

In 2019, FC Hilzingen held the Emil Homburger tournament for the 29th time in preparation for the season .
