Emiliano Díaz , full name Emiliano Mathías Díaz Rondine , (born August 29, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

According to his club, the 1.85 meter tall defensive player Díaz was previously active for the Defensor , Cerro , Platense and San Francisco (Panamá) clubs. He has been in the top division of the Montevideo Wanderers since at least the 2012/13 season . While there in Apertura and Clausura no appearances in the Primera División are recorded for him, he was used in twelve league games (no goal) in the 2013/14 season. With his team he won the Clausura 2014 and was Uruguayan runner-up. In the 2014/15 season he was 20 times (no goal) in the Primera División and three times (no goal) in the 2015 Copa Libertadores . This was followed by 20 first division appearances (no goal) in the 2015/16 season. During the 2016 season he was used nine times (no goal) in the league and five times (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2016 . In the current 2016 season, he has so far (as of August 7, 2017) played 14 first division matches (two goals) and four games (no goal) in the 2017 Copa Libertadores .
