Emission class
An emission class is generally a class regulated by standard or law that serves to subdivide or classify products that emit pollutants or interfering signals . For classification are limits with respect to the mass concentration or the pollutant emissions under standard test conditions.
Examples of types of emissions regulated by law:
- Formaldehyde in wood-based materials (see e.g. chipboard )
- Exhaust gases from internal combustion engines, see emissions standard
- In radio technology, type of modulation of the carrier wave
