Emma Patterson
Emma Patterson (* 1848 ; † 1886 ) was an English suffragette .
Life
In 1874, Patterson formed the Women's Protective and Provident League (later the Women's Trade Union League ), a union of working women. A strike of women weavers was organized in Dewsbury .
Patterson stressed the importance of women in the labor movement.
