Emrah (real name Emrah Tekin ; born September 6, 1989 ) is a German web video producer . His videos are mainly published on YouTube .

Life

Tekin is of Turkish origin and grew up near Hanover . After graduating from high school , he said he studied engineering for a few years , but gave up studying for his YouTube career.

Emrah launched his YouTube channel on May 4, 2011; however, his first video did not appear until January 9, 2012. He is now followed by over 2 million subscribers. His videos mainly deal Lifehacks and survival tips or facts videos. A well-known running gag is his greeting, in which he cuts himself together from different angles at the beginning of the video and speaks the words “Hi, hi, hi, hi, hi and welcome, and welcome, hi!”. Emrah is active in the network Mediakraft Networks . Emrah's most successful video, titled 10 Cool PIZZA Lifehacks, has over eight million views.

In early 2016, Emrah attracted special attention as the number of its subscribers rose from 33,000 to over a million in one year. It had the highest subscriber growth on YouTube in 2015.

Emrah has appeared on television several times and presented content from his videos there. He was seen on RTL and TV Total on ProSieben, among others.
