En malas compañías (German: In bad company ) is a Spanish short film by Antonio Hens from 2000. Israel Rodriguez plays the main role of the homosexual Guillermo.

16-year-old Guillermo lives out his homosexuality in the toilets of the shopping center in his neighborhood. His father catches him with his English tutor, later he is caught in the toilet with a man by the guards at the center and handed over to the police. Because of this, his parents take him to a therapist, who explains to their father's great displeasure that they should accept their son's sexuality.

Awards

The film won the 2000 Caja de Madrid awards for the best performance by a male actor (Israel Rodríguez) and for social values at the short film festival Alcine von Alcalá de Henares . In the same year he won the prize for the best short film at the Madridimagen Festival.
