End of service

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In the electronics industry, the English designation End of service or End of support (EOS abbreviation) refers to products for which the manufacturer no longer offers any service or support. The abbreviation EOS is also used for End of Sales.

The end of life (EOL) of a product is also related to this . As a rule, sales and then maintenance of a product are stopped first. The term End of Maintenance (EOM) indicates the point in time after which updates and patches are no longer available. Usually EOM precedes EOS.
