Endofsky

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Endofsky (also Gedofsky or Gedowsky) was a Rococo sculptor who worked in East Prussia in the second half of the 18th century .

description

It has been recorded in Königsberg since 1754. The organ case in Insterburg, created in 1764, is documented . Herbert Meinhard Mühlpfordt still attributes the organ cases of the old town church in Königsberg (1763) and the organ case of the Löbenicht church in Königsberg to him. Anton Ulbrich thinks that the pulpits in the Königsberg Tragheimer and Steindammer Church , as well as the pulpit and the organ case in the Königsberg Haberberg Church (1756) could be by Endofsky. Ulbrich also attributes the decoration of Friedrichstein Palace near Löwenhagen to the carver Endofsky.
