Angel Church
Engelkirche ( Guardian Angel Church etc.) is the name of various church buildings that are under the patronage of angels , guardian angels or a certain individual angel.
A general distinction is made between guardian angel churches or churches to the holy angels ( see there ) from churches named after individual archangels:

Gabriel Church
- The Churches of Annunciation are especially dedicated to the work of the Archangel Gabriel
- Certain monastery churches are dedicated to Mary Queen of Angels (English Mary) , see Maria-von-den-Engeln-Kirche
- The Viennese church at the court to the nine angels choirs is dedicated to the hierarchy of angel choirs .
