Enmešarra
Enmešarra (probably pronounced Enmescherra) is a Mesopotamian deity. With the Sumerians he was the god of the underworld, the god of all laws and powers and the 100 Me (the 100 divine powers). Together with his wife Ninmešarra, he is one of the ancestors of An and Enlil , to whom he handed over the rule. He is the father of seven children. According to an incantation from Assyrian times, the two handed over "scepter and rule" to a new generation of gods around An, Enlil and Enki .
