Enon (Virginia)

Enon is a Census Designated Place (CDP) in Chesterfield County in the east of the US state Virginia .

Enon, with the zip code 23836, had a population of 3466 registered residents in 2010. According to the United States Census, the population is composed of 76.74 percent white, 17.77 percent African American, 0.33 percent Native American, 2.37 percent Asian, 0.04 percent Pacific islander and 1, 34 percent from other ethnic groups; 1.41 percent were descended from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race 2.93 percent of the population.

Economically, the place is characterized by the settlement of large companies such as the Meadowville Technology Center, the Northrop Grumman Center and the Fulfillment Center from Amazon.com . Enon is connected to the capital Richmond and other places by the Virginia State Route 10 .
