Enrico Brignola (born July 8, 1999 in Caserta ) is an Italian football player .

Career

Enrico Brignola began his career in the youth of Benevento Calcio . In the 2015/16 season, the winger was loaned to AS Roma , but then returned to his home club. On September 17, 2016, he played his first game in Serie B against Latina Calcio 1932 . After this season, Benevento qualified for Serie A for the first time . Brignola made his debut in the top Italian league on December 3, 2017 in a memorable match against AC Milan . His club had lost the first 14 games in the league and set a European record. In this game Brignola's club managed a 2-2 draw, with which he celebrated his first point in Serie A. Brignola scored his first goal in Serie A on January 6, 2018 in the home game against Sampdoria Genoa , which Benevento won 3-2.

After Benevento was relegated from Serie A, Enrico Brignola moved to the first division club Sassuolo Calcio .

National team

On March 21, 2018, Brignola played his first game for the U-19s of Italy against Greece .
