Enrique Gil
Enrique Mari Bacay Gil (born March 30, 1992 in Cebu City , Philippines ) is a Filipino singer and actor. He is considered one of the most important pop and film stars of his generation in the Philippines.
Live and act
Gil has two siblings and also has Spanish roots. He was born in Cebu City and studied computer science at San Pedro College in Abalang, where he also received his bachelor's degree .
In 2008, at the age of 16, he attended drama and dance workshops and later appeared in musicals and commercials.
His breakthrough as an actor also came from 2008. Since then, he has played leading roles in numerous series and also some feature and short films. As a singer, he usually sings in front of large audiences in television shows or sold-out halls and also in English. He also has cover versions such as that of "Gentleman" by the singer Psy .
In 2013, he finished first in the Sexiest Man in the Philippines.
