Enrique Soro Barriga

Enrique Soro Barriga (born July 15, 1884 in Concepción , † December 2, 1954 in Santiago de Chile ) was a Chilean composer.

He studied in Milan from 1898 to 1904 and then taught at the Conservatorio Nacional in Santiago de Chile, which he also directed from 1919 to 1928. In 1948 he received the Premio Nacional de Arte .

He composed symphonic works, two piano concertos, chamber music, piano pieces, choirs and songs .
