A enteropathy (from ancient Greek ἒντερον ENTERON , German , gut ' and πάθος páthos , German , suffering' ) generally indicates an intestinal disorder. If the stomach is also involved, it is called gastroenteropathy . If the main cause is inflammation , one speaks of enteritis or gastroenteritis .
