Environtology

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Medical environtology is a former, now obsolete term for environmental medicine .

The term environtology was introduced in 1964 by the German nuclear medicine specialist Emil Heinz Graul . Until his retirement, the department in Marburg , where Graul taught, was called the “Institute for Environtology and Nuclear Medicine”. The expression was rarely received, except by its creator, and has been out of use since Graul's death (in 2005).
