Eos Airlines was an American airline that only offered all-business class long-haul flights.

history

Eos Airlines was founded by former British Airways manager David Spurlock to offer exclusively business class flights. It started operations in autumn 2005 on the New York JFK - London Stansted route with a former Mexicana aircraft. MAXjet Airways and Silverjet began with a similar concept , but both competitors have now had to file for bankruptcy and have ceased flight operations.

Eos Airlines announced on April 26, 2008 that it would completely cease operations on April 27, 2008.

Destinations

In the 2008 summer flight schedule, Eos Airlines flew four times a day from New York-JFK to London-Stansted, and some exclusive charter flights were also operated.

fleet

As of May 2008, the Eos Airlines fleet consisted of seven Boeing 757-200s .

In addition to the six former Mexicana aircraft, an Aeroméxico Boeing 757-200 was to be taken over. Due to the cessation of flight operations, this no longer happened.
