Epaminondas Chiriacopol

Epaminondas Chiriacopol (* 1952 in Bucharest , Romania ) is a French composer of Romanian origin.

Chiriacopol moved to France in 1979. Until 1983 he was bassoonist with the orchestra of Radio Brussels and taught at the Conservatoire Kinnor in Paris. Between 1981 and 1986 he worked at the Center International de Musicothérapie de Paris . Since 1986 he has taught at the Collège Gerson and St. Jean de Passy and gives private lessons in Paris.

In 1989 he became musical director of the Per la Voce ensemble and the Musicales de Chevreuse . Since 2006 he has been Artistic Director of the Bussy-Saint-Georges Music Festival .
