Epitimos painter
An Attic vase painter of the black-figure style is known as an Epitimos painter . He was in the middle of the 6th century BC. Active in Athens and is one of the minor masters .
The Epitimos painter is named with an emergency name after the potter Epitimos , whose three signed bowls were all painted by him.

Two more unsigned bowls can be assigned to this painter for stylistic reasons:

He likes to decorate the lip of the bowls on both sides with the heads of gods.
It has always been assumed that this painter belongs to the vicinity of Lydos , but Michalis Tiverios was able to show, for stylistic reasons, that the Epitimos painter is identical to the late Lydos.
