Erdrich Umformtechnik is an automotive supplier based in the Renchen district of Ulm . The company is organized around the umbrella company Erdrich Beteiligungs-Holding GmbH & Co. KG. Erdrich Umformtechnik manufactures various metal components for the automotive industry such as housings for electronic assemblies, parts for seat rails in the vehicle interior , suspension arms, brake pistons and disk carriers.

In 1962, Sander Umformtechnik GmbH & Co. KG was founded by Rolf Sander and Adolf Hättig in Oberkirch . At the beginning, the company produced cutting and punching tools for sheet metal forming and later produced punched and bent parts in series. In 1975 the company moved to Renchen-Ulm due to its growth. In 1977 Georg Erdrich took over the management together with Adolf Hättig. After Adolf Hättig's retirement in 1993, sole management was taken over by Georg Erdrich. At this point in time, EUT Erdrich Umformtechnik GmbH & Co. KG with its headquarters in Sömmerda already existed within the Sander Group . In 2011, the Erdrich and Sander production plants of the Sander Group were merged under the name Erdrich Umformtechnik.
