Erentraud Flügel-Kahler

Erentraud Flügel-Kahler (born Kahler, born July 26, 1936 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian mineralogist .

Erentraud Kahler studied at the University of Graz , where she received her PhD in 1958. phil. received his doctorate. From 1958 to 1960 she was an assistant at the Mineralogical Institute of the University of Vienna . At the Crystallographic Institute of the University of Göttingen , she was on a research grant from 1960 to 1962. From 1963 to 1964 she was an assistant at the Institute for Structural Research at the Technical University of Darmstadt .

She worked with her husband, the geologist and paleontologist Erik Flügel , with whom she published together and from 1979 to 2003 edited the journal Facies . The two had three children.
