Ergys Kaçe (born July 8, 1993 in Korça ) is an Albanian football player who was last under contract with PAOK .

Career

societies

Kaçe was born in Korça but immigrated to Greece with his family when he was three years old . He began his youth career with Achilleas Triandrias. In 2005 he made a move to the PAOK Thessaloniki Youth Academy . In December 2010, Kaçe moved from the U-18 at PAOK Thessaloniki to the professional field. His first appearance he came on 5 January 2011 in 68 minutes in a game against Panserraikos in the Super League. In the 2011/12 season he was loaned to Anagennisi Epanomi . After the loan, he returned to PAOK. Another loan to Viktoria Plzen in the Czech Republic followed in 2016 and he spent the 2018/19 season on loan at Panathinaikos Athens .

On August 31, 2019, Kaçe was awarded again to the Greek superleague club AE Larisa until the end of the 2019/20 season.

National team

Kaçe played his first international match on June 7, 2013 in the 2014 World Cup qualification against Norway . Before that, he had played four games for Albania's U-21s from 2011 to 2013 .

In the UEFA EURO 2016 in France, he was in the Albanian contingent added. In the first tournament game against Switzerland he was substituted on in the last third when the score was 0: 1. It was his only use until the team was eliminated after the three group games.

On June 12, 2019, Kaçe announced on Instagram that the day before he had played his last game for Albania against Moldova (2-0) .
