Maintenance therapy

When maintenance therapy is known in the medicine a complementary or supportive therapy measure.

In oncology , the term for cancer describes a therapy in which, after the first administration of medication, further, but mostly lower-dose or other medications are administered over a longer period of time. The aim is to ensure the success of the treatment if there is a high risk of relapse.
