The Eriagstraße is over 2 km, the largest shopping area in the south of Ingolstadt and directly leads to the Audi-Sportpark . The street name comes from the "Erdölraffinerie Ingolstadt AG", which used to be located there and has now been closed. As a result of the Europe-wide urban development competition Europan 11 , several projects will be carried out on this area over the next few years, such as B. residential areas, parks, leisure facilities etc. developed.

A street crossing away from the Ingolstadt Süd motorway exit on federal motorway 9 , many retail spaces and office buildings have been built on Eriagstraße in recent decades. It all started in the 1980s with one of the first media markets in Germany. The headquarters of the Media-Saturn-Holding are also located here . In the meantime, Eriagstrasse has developed into a shopping mile.
