Eric Rüttimann

Eric Rüttimann (born December 7, 1992 ) is a Swiss long-distance runner .

He started working for the LC Uster in early 2017. On February 12, 2017, he lowered his personal best at the half marathon in Barcelona by more than a minute and finished in eighth place after 1:05:42 h and thus the best Swiss. During this time, Rüttimann, who is studying in Bern, was able to qualify for the 2017 Universiade in the Republic of China, where he finished 31st. In 2019 Rüttimann was Swiss champion over 10,000 meters and in the 10 km road race.

His father is Niki Rüttimann , a former cyclist who won a stage in the Tour de France , among other things .
